In the year 2013, for the 10th anniversary of the Electromagnetic Wave Interaction with Water and Moist Substances Conference, we are pleased to welcome you to the German city of Weimar. The conference will take place between September 25 and 27.
Microwave aquametry is not only a subject of academic discussions and dissertations, but also an accepted tool in the field of non-destructive moisture control and monitoring in modern factories and laboratories.
Microwave or electromagnetic aquametry is the moisture content measurement of solids and liquids using electromagnetic methods and instrumentation. Monitoring opportunities include a broad spectrum of fields ranging from grain to soil and even living fish.
We are happy that the ISEMA 2013 is organized in conjunction with the 2nd Autumn School and 7th Conference of the Competence Center for Material Moisture (CMM) of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
The Autumn School “Moisture measurement in porous mineral materials” takes place from September 22 until 23 and will be followed by the CMM conference on “Innovative Moisture Measurement” on September 24, 2013.
We hope that the joint events encourage you to spend a full week in Weimar and to enjoy interesting discussions and a fruitful exchange on scientific and application level.
